| We have been owned by Golden Retrievers since 1983 when we bought our first bitch. Unfortunately as novices, we made the fateful mistake of buying her from a Puppy Farm. She had all the problems you could expect of Puppy Farm reared puppies, nervousness and the like and she could never be given the opportunity to be in a frightening situation so I always vowed that my next Golden Retriever would be well bred. When we lost her, with all that previous experience in mind, we approached Ron Bradbury and he told us of a litter in Somerset that had been born to his Sh Ch Jobeka Jasper of Nortonwood. |

| ‘Tasha’ was taken to Obedience classes and then the fateful thing was said, ‘She’s nice, why don’t you try showing her’. The bug bit. I had a modicum of success and decided to then buy something that bit better. Tilldawn Summer Storm of Shebelta ‘Shola’ arrived in 1997 just after being granted our affix. ‘Shola’ is our eternal showgirl and became our foundation bitch when she produced a litter to Sh Ch Golmas Governor of which we kept Shebelta Silver Skye. ‘Skye’ is such a sweet natured girl and has become a fantastic mum to her litter to Shardanell Talk O’The Town at Ipcress JW. We have kept Shebelta Evening Sky who qualified at her first Championship show and is making her presence felt. She has gone from strength to strength and became our first Junior Warrant winner. Also shown from that litter is Shebelta Sky Blue with Golmas co-owned by Bernard Catterall and Carol Fitzpatrick. Blue also qualified at his first Championship show and then went on to gain his Junior Warrant. |

We had a second litter from Skye in 2007 and she produced some lovely puppies which ended in us keeping a boy. Shebelta Luke Skywalker (Luke) has since gained his KCGC awards in the Bronze and Silver and is qualified for Crufts 2009.

We are grateful to have all our puppies homed with dedicated, loving owners and especially the Duxbury family who have emigrated to Australia, taking Shebelta Silver Rose (Rosie) to a life living the dream ‘down under’
